Finally a day on land. We took a shuttle into the town of Civitavecchia and strolled around for a few hours. A pity the museum and the Michaelangelo Fort were closed being Monday and most of the stores were closed for siesta so we stopped for pizza and a beer! It was really hot and muggy, not my kind of weather. A good number of people went into Rome on tours or independently on the train - we did that on a previous cruise and is a long day!!!
An early dinner as we set sail for Naples. Was a relief to hit the pillow!!!!!
